House Information

We made a promise when FedExFamilyHouse opened in 2010, that it would be a place of hope and healing for out-of-town families of Le Bonheur Children's Hospital patients. Since then more than 295,000 family members have called FedExFamilyHouse home while their child is treated at Le Bonheur.

We want FedExFamilyHouse to be your home away from home during your stay with us. With multiple common spaces throughout FedExFamilyHouse, you can enjoy time with your family and meet the other families who are staying with us.

When your child isn’t feeling well, there’s nothing like a home-cooked meal. We’ve thought of everything – from pots and pans to a blender and waffle maker. If you’re too tired to cook, our pantries are stocked with a wide variety of snacks and easy to prepare meals.

Need to unwind after a long day? We want to make sure your children don’t feel cooped up in their room by providing an indoor play area and teen lounge. This common space gives your kids the opportunity to play and enjoy themselves while meeting other children and teens.

Laundry Rooms

If you have to stay at FedExFamilyHouse for an extended time period, it can be difficult to pack everything you need for that length of time. Because of this, all of our guests have access to laundry facilities 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

Housing is the last thing that a parent should have to worry about when their child is sick. Our private suites provide you with the comforts of home while your child is spending time at Le Bonheur. Each of our suites has a bedroom, sunroom and large bathroom.

When you are caring for your sick child, you need to take time to slow down and care for yourself as well. Our media room and library give you the opportunity to relax and unwind. Both are filled with sofas and chairs for your comfort.
